Condemned yes, and left to reap the benefits of acting that way? Yes. Unless you turn from it. Your passage quoted was telling how people were, and how God allowed them to be that way and reap the rewards of that behavior. But He goes on to say that For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Not just homosexuals. Yes, that is a sin, condemned by God as is all sin. But your "out" is to beleive, ask forgiveness, and repent.
There's more and more evidence even pointing toward homosexuality being an illness. A difference in the chemical makeup in the brain...This could be true as well. As time goes forward we will find out. Just think depression and social anxiety are illnesses due to chemcial inbalances in the brain, so anything is possible.
