geez a statement like that deserves an award. The fool is really a fool imo. the guy says around 2013 with 7 billion shares outstanding the market cap at 1.50 would be 10.5 billion. He said " if the debt levels remain constant" did he forget about the interest on the debt" day to day operations. infrastructure satellites having problems etc. Thats the problem the unknowns and upbeat pumping gets these clowns in trouble time and time again.
>>>I would trust the fools assumptions over yours anyday.
Good luck with that... have a nice day. And enjoy living with those assumptions of yours.
PS - The FCF figures aren't assumptions... they're facts. Look them up.
sounds like a lot of foward looking statements and dumb assumptions by you as well. ( should, could,
would etc blah blah blah) . I would trust the fools assumptions over yours anyday. I just did not like how he tried to make those horrible #'s look rosy..
>>>If debt remains constant with more dilution of shares by 2013 then as far as most people with any sense would think that the company is doing worse instead of better.
Who said anything about debt remaining constant? That is YOUR assumption. If not assumed by reading crappy assumptions made by the Fool.
The fact is, there is no way one should "assume" that the debt won't be reduced or grow over the next 3 years.
Furthermore, with the company having significant amounts of FCF (that's Free Cash Flow for the uneducated like you)... that is cash that can be used for maturing and/or redeemed debt. Example, Sirius is expected to post over $150MM in FCF in the remainder of this year... and will probably do an additional $200MM+ next year. That is cash that will be used to strengthen the balance sheet... likely through debt redemption.
Even if debt does stay the same, as the debt markets improve and the companys' credit rating improves -- it allows them to refinance at lower rates. But I don't expect you to understand what that means.
I've never seen somebody start an arguement based on an interpretaion of information posted by someone they don't respect [Fool article], then attack the guy offering FACTS [actual links from Homer] who is actually also proving the same article is misleading.
Do you sit around and referee your different personalities as they argue with each other??
>>>thats why you missed the increase in the float from 6 billion to 6.4 billion this past quarter.
You're in over your head -- and way out of your league against me... the numbers are facts.

>>>He said " if the debt levels remain constant" did he forget about the interest on the debt" day to day operations. infrastructure satellites having problems etc.
Did you know that LT Debt has been reduced by $300MM in the last 12 months?
Did you know that Sirius and XM have already paid and capitalized $521MM (of the $600MM total cost) on the final two satellites in the current replacement plan? The final $75MM or so will be paid out over the next 12 months... and yet the company continues to have strong/positive FCF...
