I first bought in on Oct 18, 2012 at 25.87 and doubled my position on Feb 14. My average price is now 26.4. I also bought some out of the money LEAPS and recently some March calls. Yes, this is the first time posting, but I'm not new to the board. I've been reading the analysis for a while and while I agree that there are some strong differences since the last time we beat earnings (most importantly the acquisitions by MMs), I see the catalyst for a huge bump less about earnings and more about news regarding law suits or insurance coverage. There has been drips and drabs of positive news on the insurance coverage front, but I can't see this stock shooting up over 50 unless a significant chunk of the insurance coverage risk being removed. Again, I'm not a short and I'm not trying to muckrake.
I don't own DMND but I do follow it a little...they have similar problems also.
Re: Qcor, The Insurance coverage is pretty much behind us in my opinion. They are covering the drug as a last resort and that is fine. Plus, the drug works!! Lawsuits don't amount to a hill of beans in my opinion. If you don't like the stock I would sell it on the run up to earnings. Me, I'm holding my core. GL whatever you decide.
