"other Yahoo products set to be terminated include Yahoo App Search, Yahoo Sports IQ, Yahoo Clues, the Yahoo Message Boards website and the Yahoo Updates API."

    • Free boards at Investors hub, have to pay for advance features. That's one and its really light on posters. Although maybe not the best, I would like one with ability to go on something like skype. And easier to post graphs and links. would have to register with email confirmation.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Assuming Nomad is not funnin' us, one wonders why Yahoo would close the boards rather than monetizing them, especially after such an apparently significant effort to improve the software? Charging everyone, oh say, $10 per board per year, with a maximum of $50 giving access to any and all board, would also get rid of some of the #$%$. Another reason never to invest in YHOO. Bah.

I too would love to hear where the cognoscenti (you know who you are) are going!

    • Wow, best news I've seen in a while. YMBs are full of pitfalls (like Yahoo allowing up to how many aliases (6-7?). Many an unsuspecting investor has been hoodwinked by pros, multi-aliased posters etc. working these boards. I say it's about time they ditch them.

There are plenty of disgusted Yahoo users who have begun using Google , TheLion,Investor Village. The Lion has a feature where all posts are collected from various sources pertaining to the stock you are interested in. Handy tool.

These sites do not allow anyone to have more than 1 sign in name. Nice !

    • Two of my other boards already jumped ship; FNMAS to IHub and ACAS to Raging Bull. Of the two, Raging Bull is *far* superior. IHub seems to have been written in 1997 and never updated.

    • That's damn woman for ya...makes everyone show up for work and then cuts all the services..Oh well
