Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (QCOR) Message Board

private board may lead to "groupthink"?

like Ben Franklin's observation to be thankful for your enemies as they will make you better.
Most shorts on this board are goofy, but there have been a few that have brought out some different viewpoints. I don't agree with them, but at least I understand. And I am actually pleased when an intelligent investor tries to "kill" my investing idea.
Secondly, new investors need to see both sides of the investing thesis.
ps I am good at using the ignore button on the asinine posters, long or short.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Agree, but like beegle said, we aren't opposed to dissenting opinions, just freaking idiots who bring nothing to the table. Plus you can curse at will over there ;)

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Good point. I also like to hear different points of view on Qcor. It's the drive-by bashers with their one liners that #$%$ me off. I welcome anyone with a legitimate argument against Qcor. The people over at the other board are NOT opposed to allowing those people on the new board. It's just the riff raff they want to keep out.

      Thanks for your post/

      • Agree with you on the groupthink part.

I can give you an example of how this backfires on the IV board with CHK and CHK without the Frat Boys. Those poor folks got nailed with their groupthink nonsense and will take years to recover.

Its a dangerous process and served nearly noone like they initally thought

If you wnat to do something go over there and post because usually the nonsense shorts don't follow.

Btw, they already have a board started..
