Long time reader, first-time poster, and am long on QCOR. I was compelled to jump in here because I am very tired of these shorts, their immature posts, and their tactics.
Firstly I just want to tip my hat to mikey (read your article on SA, great stuff), maxdad, and pharmaman. Your guys contribute great stuff.
Secondly, I just want to let anyone else who maybe on the sidelines reading, that although short-term price movements may look alarming, this company is an excellent buy for the future. Excellent revenue and EPS growth, solid dividend yield, no debt, low COGS, a product with solid demand, and is at a firesale discount. Stories of potential litigation, decreased insurance coverage, downgrades from mercenary analysts, and drugs from other competitors are risks that are always involved in pharmaceutical companies, and will always be there, beause that is the nature of the industry. But over the long term, company fundamentals and management will always win out, in any business you look at. If you are a contrarian investor and not a trader, like myself, always stick to the fundamentals, and you can't go wrong.
And just one more thing: worst case scenario, and this company loses all insurance coverage tomorrow and goes to $0, that will really suck. A loss of $27.40 a share for me. But my estimates see a median estimate of a $65 PT (I'm a bit conservative). That means that is more than $2 of upside to every $1 of downside, not including the dividned payout. That is a risk that I am very willing to take. Give me more shares.
