21 Trading days left.....price action until Q2 results
For those who are concerned about everyday PPS changes, I just want to share my opinion on daily PPS action until Q2 results. This just my view on a high level PPS action.
1) QCOR wil have about 8-9 green days. It will gain more than a dollar for about 4-5 days and gain average 0.50 for the remaining days.
2) It will have about 7-8 red days. It will give up more than a dollar for about 4 days and also lose average 0.50 for the remaining days.
3) It will be flat for 4-5 days.
In absence of any news, QCOR may close between 43-47 right before the Q2 results. The point is not to pay too much attention on the pps on day to day basis.
If QCOR beats, don't expect it to gain more than 2-3 dollars immediately after that. It is possible that it may not gain much at all or even go down a little bit. As long as it beats, it will be reflected on the PPS within a week. The floor at $ 50 will be established after a nice beat. It will gradually keep moving up afterwards, but we will still see some mini bear raids. As long as it is a business as usual, QCOR will make higher highs and higher lows.
I think one should compare to earnings last year and the risks of negative news surprise. Last year, we had a very strong rally prior to earnings, then 7 days consolidation and then the breakout to 55. The stock would have risen like a rocket without citron/shorts. As I do not believe they can do the same trick again, I guess we get 2 weeks rally now with a consolidation prior earnings. With good earings, I am convinced the stock will rise above 60. Mainly because it is a totally different stock now, much less risk of negative newsflow.
I will be very happy if that happens. However, were you around during last two earning reports? Everyone was expecting HUGE short squeeze and it never happened. There were only two pro-QCOR posters, me and Patenright, were saying that it wouldn't move much and it didn't. Not trying to brag here, just asking everyone to have patience. Like I said in my other post, we need many good things at once to get that huge squeeze.
