Hey. for all we know, the SEC and other DA

Joined to investigate the short sellers...

After all, they were warned in a letter! Oops sorry Mr. Bailey, did I let the cat out of the bag?

    • I too join in saying 'brilliant insight'! Why would the SEC get involved with off-label use of the drug or promotional practices? That does not make any sense. It would be outside their jurisdiction. BUT, being involved in investigating the actions of the shorties, etc. would. QCOR couldn't come out and say it completely, but they do seem to say this with the SEC being, this is fascinating....but than any thriller novel I've read.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Sorry, for your theory. I do not believe the SEC and the DA's are that smart. They are going to continue to waste tax dollars and investigate QCOR under the urge of the shorts. I am not worried. The longer QCOR share price stays artificially low, the more the time I have to accumulate shares.

    • Brilliant insight, mikey. I think this should be considered together with an equally valid point made by nyjg. Together, the 2 points bring the thing into 3D.

It cannot be that Q sat on this more than a day or 2, they're not the kind of company that would risk that. THAT means they were only just informed of the news. But why would the US attorneys make a point of putting Q under an obligation to rain on their own parade (ie. whispering in Bailey's ear the day of the E/R)? That would almost put them in bed with the shorts (nyjg's point).

THEREFORE, and especially because this was only a VERBAL notification (anything more serious, ie anti-Questcor's interests, would surely have been served as a court document), your theory has an excellent chance of being true (in my valueless opinion).

      • You thought it out more clearly than I did. Some say nay but I offered the longs a bone to chew on if nothing else.

Also if nothing else, we do know QCOR has lawyers involved, hence the letters to shorts.

I really am neutral in this. So it doesn't matter to me which side wins over the next 6 months and more. I will make money as long as the stock keeps moving. Rather it go to $100 just because I am anti short on QCOR but...

        I wish everyone the best!!!

      • Sorry, did not drive the obvious point home. After the CDF fiasco, Q ran to the SEC and the Feds. They asked the USAO for E. PA to consider who originally sicked the whole thing on them, and compare names with the fish in the CDF net. The response of the authorities was as documented at the start of the E/R.

That means there's a REAL chance the whole thing could be dismissed! Maybe even before 2017!

    • Fascinating theory Mikey. Don't want to bank on it, but food for thought...

    • That would be an interesting twist heheh.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I just can't imagine the LA SEC becoming involved in a criminal or civil case it makes no sense. You might have something.
