Q announces that per telecom the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York and the LA office of the SEC have entered the investigation fray of which neither Q or the Feds have divulged precisely that which is being sought. It sounds no different than the IRS contacting an entity and saying "we want to review your 2011 tax forms". The response to that statement is "what form and what line item". With DOJ one does not have that luxury of such a response and they do not have to specify exactly what it is they are endeavoring to validate. Also, if I recall correctly the real new entry into this witch-hunt is the SEC. On the surface it appears that the DOJ attorneys are only making an efficiency play.

Going back to Maxdad's and Pharmaman's telecon with IR (Kathy?) and from memory, it seems that she indicated that Q is just as frustrated by the stock price manipulation as are we longs (pun always intended). Therefore, could it be possible that there is reason to believe that there is a mole within Q who is helping the manipulation process and Q, along with the SEC, who just happens to come on stage last evening, have set up a honey pot to trace who is benefiting the most from this latest manipulation AND to determine if it is internal or external. The honey pot is set and the CC is the announcement that activates the activity recording.

It is ludicrous that Q spends so much money and effort in R&D, successful marketing, and well positioned acquisitions to have a bunch of twerps twisting a knot in the pps. I said it before and I will continue to say that Q has to take ownership of the stock manipulation problem AND facilitate a solution. It probably can not be successfully turned around without some level of short-term pain, but it is clear that unless the issue is addressed the pain will continue. Just maybe the announcement is the first step in the direction of "solving the problem".
