Motley Fool keeps publishing hatchet job articles on JE. They have nothing but negative statements and their statements are dubious if not just downright false. Makes me wonder if someone is being paid to publish this rubbish. The one issued yesterday was outrageous.
Motley Fool has young writers with not a lot of experience or expertise in the areas they comment on. Their main function is to generate interest in Motley Fool. I generally consider their opinions honest, if inept.
Either that, or someone at TMF is working a short position or (more likely) put option position.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I used to work on Wall Street and the reason TMF's repeated bashing of JE seems so strange to me is that JE is not a well-known company (understatement), it is very thinly traded, and it's extremely easy to "push it around" with relatively light trading + velocity. Motley Fool's obsession with such an unknown "pee-on" of a stock, especially one with both very light volume and float, definitely triggers my "something seems fishy" alarm at very least.
