    What if rumor denied today?

    This still sounds fishy to me

    "Our colleague Preeta Das reported Google’s started sniffing around InterDigital after it lost out on a $4.5 billion sale of a bundle of patents belonging to Nortel."

    If that were true, why would IDCC have to announce yesterday that it would seek strategic alternatives. If Google was interested all along, that would not have been necessary. Something just doesn't sound right.
