    • euphoria at the news that IDCC was *thinking* about selling and rumors about who is bidding.

and after the weekend, everything calmed down.

Of course, the debt talk fiasco isn't helping. There were numerous news articles about the markets going down if congress screws up.
So you gotta think: what are the odds that congress will F*** things up ??

    • Bubbless, the only information "released" by Interdigital was that they were in talks with Google. All the talk about Apple was speculation by stock analysts and the writers of newsletters.

If you're going to bash, get your facts straight. There is one FACT -- Google is talking with InterDigital and there are two sub-parts of that fact: 1) Google was shutout in the Nortel auction; and 2) IDCC hired investment bankers to explore strategic moves to increase stockholder value.

Those are the Fact(s) and they do no add up to a Strong Sell. They suggest the possibility of a large increase in IDCC's stock price.

    • was so long ago...can't believe nothing's happened bs.

    • I am sure they are. But look at the markets plumment becuase of the debt issue;.> The Market does not care becuase they know a deal will be done. The news media get folks all excited and that is a shame.
