lady, No offense, but I've been reading your posts and every one of them is full of doubt, doom and gloom about ever recouping your $$. I have no axe to grind with you or anyone here, but I've seen this a million times...soft bashing in the face of potentially good news. Who do you think you're fooling?
If it is AAPL leading the consortium then Samsung will probably not be invited. Samsung would have to form their own. As far as Google? They made an expensive mistake buying the MOT patents but they could still be in the process since they have plenty of available cash from their balance sheet as well as from operations! I wouldn't count them out completely. Right now I don't have any indication except that they may out of their comfort zone here. I could see them being part of a consortium just to reduce their risk. It looks like the first round of bids was for a number of patents. That appears to be going into a second round. There are more than one consortiums forming to bid on that, and apparently the company.

Dear Minn: I'm an electrical engineer by degree. I never believe anything that anyone says unless I know for myself that something is true. I have my own take on what I see out there and I don't follow crowds. And I certainly don't feel like I have to fit in with any crowd, including you. So I don't feel the need to explain my agenda to anyone.
It's not that I always look at the dark side of things... i AM the dark side.
