With the deal, Microsoft will get royalty revenue on every Android smartphone and tablet that Samsung sells. Redmond already has a deal with another major handset maker — HTC — that sells both Android and Windows Phone devices.
Amen. Seems like a lot of hype. The "leak" about Google happened on July 18. The stock shot up to $80. Now we learn "from a source close to the company" that there is some bidder in the $1-$2B range that doesn't want the whole company but may ask if others want to join in a consortium?
