MMI patent's considered strongest by Jeffries:"MMI in our view had the broadest and deepest patent portfolio amongst the wireless players," Jefferies said in a note to clients, adding the buy may spur Apple -- sitting on a large cash pile -- into making a purchase of its own.
ANd I like the author's estimate that if you base IDCC's value on the value of Nortel's patents, it would be worth about $22 billion ~$450 a share. If that is what it sells for I will be able to quit my job! LOL! 10 BAGGER!
I am bullish on IDCC but wanted to point out that Seeking Alpha is a blog.
But not in 4G. If you look at this link - IDCC has about 24% and Motorola and or Google are not even in the pie chart - probably in 'other' (too small to list with the significant player).http://seekingalpha.com/article/287408-google-buys-motorola-for-12-5-billion-what-interdigital-is-now-worth
"... amongst the wireless players,"That doesn't include IDCC.
Those subtle nuances can completely change the meaning. English is a complex language for sure:-)
