NOT!!!! The longer there is no reliable news, the greater the chance that there will be no big sale, perhaps a portion of the company, but no giant sale. I have had this stock many years, bought it at $9....
Don't have much hope at this point....

That is idiotic. The longer it goes, the more rounds of bidding are required. That is a good sign there is a bidding war that more than one party is determined to win.
Kate, a further point. Do you remember how much the $400M deal with Samsung raised the price of the stock a couple of years ago?
Imagine what a partial deal with one of the Asian cheapskates in the $1B to $2B range could do! At $9.00 per share basis you would really be sitting pretty.
It would probably be better for you in the long run than a $100+ sale.
Kate, I couldn't disagree more. If there was no hope of a deal, we would have heard by now. Further delay from here indicates continued bidding or the legal details in putting a consortium together.
Just my opinion, of course.
Uhm...I half agree..price action does indicate news..but not good news if you're long. This was at $49 like 500 dow points ago and is still struggling to get to $50 while market has continued to rally. IF I were long I would view this a poor price action.
