IDCC Auction....is there another mr. yang in the house

I just hope the IDCC board and management are not trying to hold out for some unrealistic price. For those of you saying anything over 100..something is wrong. I just hope this is not another yahoo screw up. I lost a ton of money when Jerry Yang screwed up the microsoft deal trying to hold out. I would be happy with 80-90. I just hope we don't have another jerry yang idiot of a ceo running this ship.

Hey dumb**** over $100 a share is still cheap and IDCC MGMT would not have put themselves up for sale if they thought the most they could get was $100, and certainly not for $80.

That's great you would be happy with $80-$90, but don't come out here crying because you're worried and impatient and hoping for a humble buyout price.

If you did your research, you'd realized how stupid your post is. Sure most companies get bought out with a 30% premium, and $80 a share would basically be a double from current price which is a huge premium relative to typical acquisitions, but IDCC is a different animal, it has a lot of assets that are valuable to the smartphone industry, which happens to be the hottest thing in tech right now, and will remain that way for a while.

In 2-3 years, all of us will probably have a better phone than we do now, in 10 years, all of us will have a phone that's better than any phone currently on the market.

If IDCC BOD and MGMT is holding out for some "unrealistic" price, it's going to be a lot closer to $200. My minimum projection is $120...which would only be $1 billion for than Nortel, which I would say is a great deal. I would be happy with $120, but I wouldn't be surprised if it sells for $150+
