Red (!?!) during CES - WOW!

Market is in extreme panic euphoria overdrive and CES is in progress...even APKT is flying today. This is amazing.

    • that's a little better. I almost thought that they missed their plane to Las Vegas.

    • I know that hedge funds are buying and hedge funds can influence the price of a stock. It could be someone has an interest in keeping the price down. Not sure. Bidders and insiders are restricted from buying and selling in the open market (though some insiders recently received shares apparently from profit sharing or stock discount program). We have seen the stock close within .30 of the weekly option strike price where the fewest options get excercised for something like the last 14 out of 15 weeks. Not sure if it is coincidence or manipulation, or if option activity is merely an excellent short term price indicator. But it seems IDCC is heavily shorted and we have seen very obvious and effective manipulation (downward unfortunately) of the price by Dealreporter and its cohorts. Since the regulatory bodies tend to look the other way, we probably have to put up with this until IDCC is bought out. If they don't get bought out, I would like to see them improve on marketing their IP and negotiating skills, be a little more agressive going after the entities stealing their IP, maybe get more proactive in establishing working relationships with their potential and existing licensees.

BTW any reports on IDCC tech from CES?
