This is why I own and use Yipi.Com

There is big privacy issues regarding your search queries you provide to say Google or Yahoo being saved for up to two years and sold to advertisers who in return send your targeted ad software ads based upon your algorithms you provide while online today. people don't want that. They feel it violates their 'free will' and is just 'intrusive'. CNBC reported today that small search engines are starting to take market share from the Bidu's, Googles, and yahoo's of the world. For this reason and for purity in search....and not what people pay the most for to stick in front of your face like with Google and others. The ad $ is not where the money is in Facebook. The data mine and algorithmic persona is worth $$$$$.......Facebook and Google is the truest window to ones soul. You admit your fears, your desires, Etc. In some cases even before you consult a doctor for a problem or talk about it with a loved one.

Not everybody is seeing the same ad's / banners you are seeing on your screen. They are 'targeted ad software' derived for and from the things you like and interest you via you online activity

Here below is an old post I wrote regarding your online activities and how they are used (sometime in a court of law against you...and even in Divorce proceedings today)
    ----------------

"CNN asked the other day about whether the shooting Congresswoman Giffords in Arizona could have been prevented?
    I answered >

The short answer...yes! (me give short answer...never!)
...Via the modern day fruits of exponential technology growth that allows for profiling of your virtual persona (facebook/google/etc)....that is comprised of your algorithms you provide every time you get on the internet or live your daily life via your hand device/iPhone/smart phones....in essence 'The Thought Police"....That is almost possible in today's times and almosttttt being socially accepted for the 'greater good' and the betterment of humanity going forward.

It's also hard to live the life of a con person, a fugitive, a molester, or someone who beats woman and children and animals. Not if ya live as much of your life in the public domain(showroom window) as possible. Don't fight it embrace it!
Let technology work for ya. It is hard to tell and LIVE lies if all your friends know ALL your bussiness and what is TRUE and what is not!

Side note: The other day on Facebook someone posted a yawn as their status. And within a few minutes time about 10 other people posted "thanks...now ya got me yawning"

    I wrote this below

"Funny how yawning is contagious? They've done studies as to why. It's still be great mystery, as to why when you see or HEAR someone yawning, you usually do the same. Even if you're not tired per se. I thought it funny and fascinating that yawning
{is now contagious via the Internet} LMAO....A testament to the harnessed collective consciousness the Web has brought to the human species....yes?

Technology will ultimately evolve to create a social utopia. Because of this. And among other advancements we're seeing in our society.

I will sum w/ this: Just look at what the advancements in DNA technology has done to significantly enhance crime fighting techniques and conviction rates and cold case crime solving.
