    Once again remember

that the A/R criticism by the various "Truths" is
based on a fallacy. They repeat that A/R grew 40%
faster than sales. The fallacy lies in the premise that
there is a 1:1 relationship between the two. This is
NEVER EVER the case. Sellers himself mentioned an
average of 180 days to collect but that they are
collecting and have no default concerns. If sales increase
in a given quarter as well as the latter part of the
previous quarter the lag in collecting will absolutely
push up the A/R as a relative value to sales. This is
a positive indicator. I have posted this before and
none of the "Truths" have commented on it.

      1) "Onward and downward" is a phrase often used by
      all 3 (for IATRT, see post #s 21539, 21580, 21586,
      21708, and 21752; for TTHU, #s 20864, 20920, 20932, and

      many other examples)
      2) the "I have no position in
SCLN, I am researching the stock and want your input"
position--again, used by all 3 (he gets progressively down on the

      7) naming a "fair value"
      price (TTHM--$6; TTHU--$9, and IATRT--$9, then changes
      to $7)

      Enough for you?

    • "Truth," you don't really expect anyone to
believe you invested over $500,000 in a stock you were so
busily bashing at the time, do you? (See msg#s 21860 and
21865). And now you're again repeating the fiction that
you have not used pseudonyms, and you haven't
addressed the AVXT lie (inaccuracy?) you were called on
yesterday. I had hoped that you did want a "nicer" board,
but apparently all you wanted to do was encourage
your critics to keep a lower profile.

    • Thanks.

Listened to the presentation while I read your summaries. Pretty good summaries.

I'm sure I'll buy some more, just now have a problem deciding what I should sell...

    • 1. They have a partnership with Schering Plough,
a big pharma, in Japan. This partnership was
established long time ago, thus SGP will enjoy from zadaxin
      as well.
It's fair, since SGP is the one doing
      the clinicials there.
      In europe, the partnership
was established with Sigma-Tau, in a much later
stage, thus they SciClone could raise its demands. The
result of this later stage is the partial payment
Sigma-Tau have to do in US clinicials, even though they
won't enjoy US revenues & earnings.
      2. well,
somehow. From one side, company uses public patient data
in its publications (something like several
thousands patients or so), as this is a novel drug. Thus,
they do monitor it, and don't spread it with no
supervision. On the other hand, the real important data is the
clinicials, the medical data closely monitored.
      I guess
one can evaluate these as 2'nd level data for the
FDA. Something like: "here's the usual clinicial data,
and in addition, here's additional info, on public
patients". The market data is only the adding, not the core
      data for the FDA.

I invite you to hear the
latest SCLN presentation, where they address this issue
a bit, or read the 3-part summary I made a while
      ago:

Not addressing exactly your questions, but gives an
overall picture, from which one can deduce logical
      conclusions.

    • I'm a recent investor. Bought a few dollars worth
after listening to an Informed Investor's
      presentation.

Two questions for those of you who've been here
      longer...

      (1) I believe the deal they have in Japan calls for
manufacturing only. The presenter suggested this was best.(?)
Can anyone shed light any light on this position?
Seems to me that manufacturing plus royalties would
      have been better... What goes?

      (2) Presenter
mentioned that Zad sales in other than US would be
monitored, (and restricted ?). I'm guessing they don't want
any aberrant results screwing up their FDA
      submission. Is that correct?
