WFT hit $50 per share in 2008 with revenues of $9.6 Billion. They are doing well over $12 Billion in revenues now and B-D-D said very clearly on the call that he saw no reason they could not return to historic profitability with the tax issues behind them now and the corporate culture focused on profitability rather than rapid growth.
Just something to think about and certainly makes it worth holding onto the stock. Even after the recent moves up it is still trading at historical lows. I'm just sitting on it for a year or more - not too many stocks out there with the potential upside of this one.
Agreed. Potential upside of at least 50% short term with buyout rumors flying around from GE. I own 1k shares at averaged about $14.....I recently purchased additional 500 shares at $11.
Another stock to watch is IOC.......trading at $58 and was $99 in September. Buyout from major(XOM,RDS) of largest gas find Antelope is imminent plus stock has huge short position. This baby will skyrocket when the news is released!
There are many others that were taken all the way down for accumulation by insiders and now starting to reverse , one of the US Steel another Owens Illinois ! Hold on to them and you will win ! There is nothing wrong with those companies !!!!
Not that, they are always right, but according to the valueline book at my local library. WFT is listed as one of their most under valued stocks. I am only going by memory, but I believe they give a price target of $40 in a 3 to 5 year time frame.
