The volume on this stock should be zero

Unless you are still stuck with shares. This is a dead stock. I think I am up 60% on all my other stocks this year and that's including a 20 cent loss trading this stock earlier in the year. If you aren't making killer returns then you need a different portfolio and these guys at Magic abandoned us.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

I must say that I don't understand anything of what you are writing about here.

At today's $5.30 price, MGIC is up 40% on a 52 week basis. At the $5.97 peak, MGIC is up 60% on a 52 week basis.

Also, of course, you my be confused about the relationship between price and volume.

      Can you expand?

      • I guess if you call a drop in price into the 4's and then it goes back up 60% a gain of 60% then you are correct based on the window of opportunity you invested in. This stock still is flat lining with another quarter of flat news. I'll stick with the 15% I just made off of SNTS over the past few months then get lured back into this stinker

        Sentiment: Strong Sell

      • I attribute the timing of MGIC jumping to people buying the wrong stock. The news release with regard to MTG which was posted on Magic's board coincided with teh stock price jump which has happened many times in the past. MGIC has been floating up and down for the past several years around $5. If you shorten the timeframe then yes, it's up 60% but that's not a fair assessment is it? By contrast SNTS, DDD and some other stocks have been rocketing with huge earnings increases.

        Sentiment: Sell
