Looking at list of major shareholders shows big shares owned by the very banks that have been liquidating or going bk. Selling not likely related then to basics of this fund. Looks like a great buy at these levels
Does not explain yesterdays drop in NAV Buying and selling in this fund effects its discount very little effect on Nav. The fund not own enough of any of its underlying stocks to effect their value much. The NAV has been steadily down
Yesterdays drop in NAV is easy to explain. Yesterday was black Monday for stock markets around the world. Everything got slaughtered so AWP's 8% decline in NAV from Friday is nothing unusual.
