    No small wait.

    @perajacobsen: Yes.

    One could argue that, absent any catalysts, this stock is "dead money." While it may be unloved, it certainly isn't unattractive for someone looking for a dollar selling for 50 cents, especially in today's frothy environment. As an intelligent investor, I for one, am not expecting a cheery consensus from the participants.

    At the behest of disciple and patience, I'm confident that I'll be rewarded well for following the fundamentals rather than emotion, fear or greed.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I understand the value proposition.
      But what I also see is that the company is either not interested in or not able to grow.
      So the ways to be "rewarded well" are:
      - either Mr.Market suddenly develops a brain and decides the price should double from here;
      - somebody else buys them out.
      What are the chances of either event happening in the next 12 months?
      I feel even switching from yearly to quarterly dividend payments (without actually raising the dividend) could have bring more visibility to the stock.

        @bamboo: I hear you. Lack of apparent catalyst is one of the reasons why investors confuse value stocks for value traps.

        To be honest, timing the moves of Mr. Market is neither my forte nor my intention. So in that sense, yes - I have no idea when it will be priced correctly. But that doesn't mean it will NEVER be priced correctly.

        Moreover, I am not holding my breath for a buyout. My question to you is - why must the company grow? As it is, you are getting tremendous value for your money. For every 100 dollar you invest, you are getting around ~$40 in cash and effectively paying ~$60 for the business that throws off $14 every year.

        The intrinsic value of the business is much higher than the current price.
