I appreciate that you took the time and effort to do some DD on the move. Nice to know I'm not the only one trying to dig in to the details. There wasn't any reason for this to become a matter drawing such apparent attention in the first place as it really doesn't effect much in the short run. All they've done is move to a better facility with the same concessionaire in a room with a greater potential for revenue in the future. As a sidebar Bain reports having spoken to some of the institutional holders, all of which are on board with the change.
I am eager for all the noise to die down, not just about this but all the other foolishness as well. I'd rather be discussing things that actually impact the biz.
As I've speculated before I think they may be holding off on the formal application to list in HK until after they are in growth mode again. Once that happens and they are comfortable extending credit I imagine they will be looking to diversify in terms of their footprint which is now heavily concentrated in Cotai. Can't wait to see what happens to estimates once the next room is up and running with their full compliment of agents following the cash agent initiative from last year as well as the Bao Li acquisition.
