I don't think my previous message went through, so I'll repeat it . Most users of propane use it because natural gas is unavailable in their area. Since Liquified Nat. gas is the thing of the future and is portable once liquified, what it the danger that LNG will greatly reduce the usage of Propane in the future ??
Great question. I assume:
1. Consumer of propane would need to modify their heating /cooking etc. to switch to LNG
2. Distribution network is already in place for SPH to provide both.
3. Costs of operations would increase due to having to provide more than one type of fuel.
Side note: Things went horribly south for SPH during 2012 due to warm weather and other factors.
