    Good morning everyone. Since Jim gave you an update on our sales and gross margin, I thought I'd share a few thoughts around three other items. I will give you an update on our Target Mobile center business, a few comments about our SG&A expenses, and then end with some comments regarding our balance sheet position and cash flow.

    Jim shared with you the benefit to our top line that our Target Mobile centers generated this quarter. I'd like to add a bit more perspective on what we are doing to make this business more profitable. We have made and are continuing to make operational changes at Target Mobile to increase the productivity in each of these centers and improve the profitability.

    While we are not yet achieving the level of profitability we had expected from this relationship to Target, we are working diligently with them on initiatives to drive performance improvement and we expect this business to be profitable by the end of this year.

    • I am not saying RadioShack has great future. But, let's face it. Dorvin was not the CEO.

    • You are wrong. Dorvin was just a CFo at that time. Gooch was the CEO. Doevin was clear on the latest report that Terget business sucks.

    • 6 months ago there were people here touting these comments as strong reasons to buy RS. It could only go up once the Target relationship begin to pay off.

      We heard the same things when Verizon came on board. #1 cellular service provider in the country would result in much higher sales of not just phones but all the high margin accessories. Never happened, at least not so far.

      Prior to that it was the introduction of the iPhones into the stores. The company couldn't miss with that one. Major coup for Radio Shack. Serious gains ahead. Except............ it all went nowhere just like the few customers who did come in and learned that only a few, very few, select stores actually carried the product.

      So many predictions of future glory while completely ignoring the fundamental issues of poor inventory, inept middle and upper management and one of the single most alienated sales force in the entire country.

    • That was a nice little dig up Boo. That is the foot in mouth post of the day. These companies mislead shareholders at every turn. Here it is in black and white. The poor folks who were duped in after hours and pre market. The love to toy with these retail chumps.
