BBy is carefully expanding with a smaller format already at about 50 locations a year.
The problem with buying the shack, is you'll be buying a pile of debt, half the stores would be useless to bby and that would be added cost for those closings and then there's the refitting costs, so in the end it's cheaper to just do it them selves.
RULE #1...........Companies do not buy what they can have for free. We learned this from all the bank closures. Second...............Radio Shack is worthless. Scratch out the debt and you have a company worth nothing that is losing over half a million per day. And Best Buy wants more debt and losses per day for what reason ?? Lets hear the logic?
