Dead Money for 18 months - but .....

Are they now headed in the right direction ? Cooper & company have trashed shareholders soundly, but are brighter days for us ahead ? Or will they dump another skelton out of the closet ? I'm going to hang on a bit longer to see - altho I dumped some at a big loss about 6 months ago ....

    Sentiment: Hold

    • you worry too much. leads to depression.

    • Maybe no more skeltons but there just is not any way to significantly increase earnings other than by reducing expenses and that game has been over for a while. New products? New markets? Less expensive delivery?(already been done) Also, their bread and butter was home equity and that game will not return in the next few years. Their checking product changes so often who knows what it is. The only pop in this stock will come by way of being acquired and I believe this would have happened by now if someone were foolish enough to offer more than the company is worth. No one has and no one will. Their time has passed. They are selling for a third of what they sold for years and years ago (Dec. 2004---( 8 YEARS AGO), and yes this is adjusted for splits. The dividend has been cut 80% and has been stuck at that level for 4 years in April. Their is no sizzle left in this stock. It is boring and I can't imagine anyone still has the patience to wait for it to come back because it isn't going to do so.There are so many other opportunities that have sizzle, are increasing thie dividend and seeing their stock prices climb. Take a look at NRF and NCT. GLTA
