Obviously these Legos being manufactured by Flex don't sell otherwise the manufacturing wouldn't have been sold. Flex is going to lose bigtime especially if they paid too much for it. How long will it be before they're seen making a profit? 3 yrs? 30 yrs? And do we even know if Flex is going to be getting all the proceeds from Lego sales? IVOI's biodiesel venture is huge. Buying a failed venture is pointless. http://www.forbes.com/2006/06/20/lego-group-restructuring-cx_po_0620autofacescan 05.html?partner=yahootix "some of the more demanding products would continue being made at the company's Danish facilities." It pays to outsource sh|t that doesn't sell. Do you think Lego is going to lose money on this deal? I think not. $5 by month's end imho.
Wow...the idiocy on this board never ceases to surprise. Hint: Lego is paying Flex to mfg. Flex isn't paying Lego to mfg. I got it.... let's just pay Apple to make iPod's. That way we could lose money on something that DOES sell.
