    OSB prices continue fall

Further weakness in the lumber, plywood, and OSB
commodity markets continues to be seen. In this type of
environment, speculative inventory building is being shunned
and inventory has been pushed up the channel to the
producers. www.randomlengths.com is one place to follow the
action, as is the futures markets.

    • Do you or anyone else know if historically there
is a link between OSB prices or lumber futures and
the price of LPX stock? Or is the linkage erratic?
One would think there should be a link, but how
strong is it, if indeed there is one?

      • osb futures reflect traders opinion as to the
future price of the product in question.one varible in
stock prices depends on expectations of future profits
and the link to futures is based on this analogy.to
suggest no link exists???? tubo you would be dangerous if
you had some basic knowledge in fundamentals.give up
the free speech program (you are well documented) and
help us figure out how to make a profit on lpx,be it
long or short.peace to you and luck on your
        investments.
