ok, it all looks nice but maybe they are wrong, if the banks use mastercard's two factor authentication, vasco will have a problem, don't you think?

I wonder how the Mastercard 2-Factor architecture differs from Vasco's (?).

it's the same technology but on the card, so you don't need a digipass any longer..
