Peak sales figure = $300M. Company now worth 1.0B+
don't you longs see the issue with this? $300M total potential sales... PEAK sales. That's not $300M in profit... just sales. Sales cannot begin until FDA approval and market readiness of the drug - total time is about 2 years from now. The drug is good, for sure, otherwise the FDA wouldn't have said OK, but the application is focused only to Parkinsons... cannot be used for any other disorder. To treat other disorders, different FDA applications must be submitted and approved - multi-year process. This is going to settle in the $10 range which is still too high, but at least it'll be almost fairly valued. THis also leaves no room for a pop for when it does get the official FDA approval in 6-12 months since it'll already be fully priced in.
Before today we did not know they were going after a one study then NDA process. In about 7 months I suspect they will go for an expedited review...see today's Q&A...then another 12 months and repeat the cycle with ADP. They just keep surprising us with good news that warrants huge gaps on the open and punishing shorts and those hoping it drops so they can buy...would coulda shoulda...step up to the plate and swing for the fences...it will be significantly higher in 18 months.
By the way, it won't go much lower...big pharma and their expiring patents want in since acadia has worldwide rights through 2028. Going much higher in time.
this level is too high and nobody will waiting almost 2 years to take a huge profit of this company[maybe much higher]
you like me know that the pps extremly overbought .
numbers are important and the outlook for sure but i am trading stocks like this and the fda approval is 50-50 and this not tomorrow.
