I currently own acad, I have held this stock for more than 6 months because I believe in its potential. Recently, I owned INO which which I bought in at $0.83 and sold out at $ 2.98 last Monday, The returns were unbelievable! Unfortunately, the upward trend was not that promising after I dug in some dirt about the company. So now I am just holding on to some cash that I would very much like to invest in another promising stock. Can you please reply with your suggestions and insights, or share with me you treasure findings. your time is very appreciated.
AEGR has had a good run, but is just getting started. The EU approval just came in and they haven't even started selling there yet. Based on US sales alone, they just beat street estimates and raised guidance substantially, and this is with only 215 patients out of 3,000 diagnosed in the US, plus 7,000 more in Europe, with 15,000 total patients worldwide. They have approvals and are just now selling. Their drug is expensive ($300K/year) but it works & no competition. Insurers have already agreed to cover it too (for 98% of the ensured population in the US).
CLDX is pretty good. I'm still cautious on timing for CLDX, it may still be too early for the big run.
SRPT is a sleeping giant & won't file the NDA with the FDA until 1st half of 2014. Expedited review is expected, so hopefully approval in 2014 or early 2015, so plenty of time on SRPT. A near term catalyst will be results from a potential competing drug will be released, and if those results aren't very good (as expected) SRPT could get a big bump up near term.
Just wondering what you found out that's negative regarding INO, I bought a little bit, I also own PCYC and ACAD. While Ino is very speculative, it appeared to me their platform has tremendous potential.
Well, I did make some easy cash because of that tremendous daily speculation, but I sold out when I reached higher than expected profit margin. The platform looks great on piece of paper, and their manipulated preclinical and phase 1 trials, but fail to deliver positive results on the second and third trials.Do yourself a favor and read the whole section 3 in the SA article "Is INO Overextended at $2". it has a lot to say about the history and how INOVIO as a company was founded.
Thought about that, but i don't want t trap my money for almost a year without a return, especially that ACAD for the last 2 month has been nothing but almost flat, and lack short term catalysts. However, I will definitely increase my position moving forward. If i had all my cash in ACAD I would not have had a chance to create 115 % profit in INO.
Oh yes, IMUC is the next CLDX i believe. I hope that the second phase trial goes well!
Oh a question, do you have any idea on why IMUC's always has higher premarket and intraday PPS than the actual market close price? IMUC's volatility that is keeping away from getting in.
