    VNO buying ALX?

    source: http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/02_23/b3786119.htm

Note: This is from BusinessWeek June 10th 2002

"Vornado Realty Trust which owns, leases, and manages various office, retail, and industrial properties, has become more alluring of late. So argue some value investors, who say Vornado might buy the 67% of Alexander's it doesn't already own. If Vornado purchases Alexander's even at thrice its market cap of $335 million, "it would still add tremendous value to Vornado," says Doyle, whose fund owns shares. He says Vornado, now 45, could double in a year. Vornado didn't return calls."

I do not remember VNO doubling to $90 in 2003 - but it sure would have been nice IF that happened.

Americanbrunette's (AKA Nikki) post's are not without merit. I have yet to learn how to address comments to her without causing a negative reaction. But I am willing to try.

So I would plead with bear9 to "bear" with a bit of hallucinations of misogyny.

I would also plead with Nikki that when she has sources for her information - it is of assistance to the nattering nabobs of negativism that she posts them with the original post - and not be prodded into doing so. That would save time.
