there is a differance between a rumor and speculation
this is not a rumor idiots, the speculation is surely real because no one knows whats going on behind closed doors but there are clearly 2 offers that have been presented by HPQ at $45 and RVBD at $47 but the CEO and his father who is the chairman would like $53. And the way this company is growing they may very well hold out and get $53, maybe not today, but there are clearly other potential buyers and remember IBM was mentioned earlier and may still be in this backroom bidding war. This company clealry has a product that these companies want, and if the bidding war is between HPQ and RVBD, i think HPQ will clearly win that war because they have much more cash and will benefit the most from the aquisition. Look back at the bidding war between HPQ and DELL over 3PAR, went from what $12 to $33 and change.
The only thing that is clear is that insiders have been selling RDWR and haven't been buying any for months now, including a large sale immediately after the last rumor of a takeover. Nothing happened last time, and nothing will happen this time. Insiders cannot sell if the have knowledge of negotiations of a takeover. And just think about it. Why would they sell if they are about to get a huge pop in their selling price. The truth is that there is no deal and all of this is a load of BS from a small irresponsible newspaper half way around the world again.
One insider, the cfo sold 240,000 shares, big deal compared to how many shares he owns. Maybe he had an alimony payment or wanted to buy a new boat, hell, the stock was up 300% for the year. but a single insider on a single trade in not a trend moron and the BS newspaper you are referring to is Globes, Israel's version of the Wall Street Journal. get you facts straight before post that bs or better yet, go buy stock in something else if you you dont like this company
