my opinion is the million shares sold in the last 30 min of yesterdays trading has created more shares that need to be bought and and people are not buying 500,000 share blocks and there was 2 sales yesterday of 500k that caused it to drop $2/sh each time. so as people pick up those shares and hold on to them which most people are doing, it will gradually go back up. simple supply and demand, lots of supply at the moment and when that goes down then the stock will go back up. if 2 people bought 500k shares right now at once, the shares would shoot right back up to the 39-40 range which it will stay until the rdwr board makes their announcement which could be any time now.
it was 1.85M shares that sold at an average price of 36.13...so if they were holders as of 12/3...they still made 10%...but were those stop losses being taken out? 467000 sold at an average price 34.79...panic selling by large holders...has to make you think nothing is happening...I hope this sells for $60...I have calls and puts...but if no sale...it needs to close the gap to 32.99 to close weakness in the chart
no official news...and this will need to close the gap created by the spike...$32.99...if nothing is going to happen...the selling volume at the bid was huge yesterday when it fell...not big volume...and people are trying to start class action to sue management for leaking info on a possible deal and then selling shares into the possible leak...that could be a big problem. And mean changing of management abruptly...RDWR needs to close the gap if just a rumor...but still under priced compared to say RVBD
what is there, 5 million shares that are available for trading since insiders own 22% and institutions own almost 50% of the companies stock? maybe even less, but none the less, this isn't citi who has billions of shares, you know what i mean. so as the amount of shares that are even available to us to trade isnt that much.
i agree, this stock is not a risk to own by any means, strong balance sheet, meets or exceeds earnings the last 4 qtrs, last quarter was record high and upcoming quarter is set to beat that. Consistent YOY growth since 2005, even in 2008, and the have no debt. so, this company is going nowhere but up either way.
