or does it seem that daily volume lately is much much higher than it has been in a very long time. I cannot figure out why there seems to be more trading on this shell of a company than when Clarus was a real entity. Are the Kanders bunch accumulating again?
Based on the 13G filing of today, a Merrill Lynch small cap fund now owns over 1,000,000 shares. It seems to me that there are some institutional buyers that are accumulating the stock and responsible for the increased volume.
Thanks for the info. That is quite interesting. I hope Kanders announces something soon. He has sure had plenty of time to be thinking about what to do with the cash! I somehow think he had the wheels spinning long before Clarus finalized any deal with Epicor.
If Kanders et al are accumulating, we should see in a few days a SEC Form 4 filing.
If we do not see any Form 4 filings, then one can safely assume, that there are other big players who have a strong interest in a company without a business per se. Just a shell company with lots of cash, more like a venture capital firm.
