I just confirmed with broker that will be 4-6 WEEKS yet before we have cash proceeds in our accounts from the sale. Since YMI is already delisted, the brokers can't do anything but wait until the transfer agent sends settlement proceeds to the brokers to reflect in customer accounts. Big bummer, because - like many - I had other ideas for putting the proceeds to work, and had I known, I would have bit the bullet on the little commission and sold at 2.95 the last couple days and waited for T3 settlement and had those funds already. Drats!
did you SELL your shares, or did you just let the transaction "naturally" close? if sold and you are just waiting for normal T3 settlement, that is a totally different animal. the above is NOT FALSE. E*trade - and i got confirmation also, both by email AND talking with a specialist directly on the phone - indicated that at this point they are waiting for the transfer agent to send them funds, and THEIR normal expected timeframe is 4-6 weeks. further, at times they are able to do an intermediary transaction with the exchange, but no longer since the shares are now de-listed. all i was trying to do is provide a little information to those wating.
