FedEx should layoff at least 25% of their employees. At least 10 employees including a supervisor have been scurrying around trying to locate a 65# package for 2 days that was shipped from NY on 10/12 to Virginia Beach. It was deadended in Chesapeake, VA. FedEx does not know where it is, if it's on the truck posted by their tracking, where that truck is, or where it is going. Unbelievable! Thanks Nancy, Sam, and Tony among others that I have spoken to. Now F. W. Smith, CEO, should get involved and find out where the waste and inefficiencies are in his company. I'm selling!
Since there was a mistake, being able to count on no less than 10 FedEx employees to try to help you should be of some comfort to you. I would think you would be recognizing the effort. If it had been UPS, you would have been told to file a claom and forget about it.
