Here are my thoughts today: I bought 63,000 shares of NBS at .47 about a month ago. A simple $30k investment. Since that time, I'm up over 40%. I'm not bragging. Just trying to provide some context. Anyway, I've been investing for a long time. Many years. And I know there are an infinite number of strategies to making money in the stock market. Believe me, I've tried a lot of them. I always found though, that when I tried to pick bottoms or tops...or jumped in and out trying to lock in a quick 5 or 6 or 7 percent gain....I almost always lost money or missed out on a major move upward. Hey, that's me. I'm not saying that's not a valid strategy for others. But here's what I feel most comfortable with NBS --- If there is ONE (1) company that knows what it's doing with stem cells... One company that has outstanding leadership... One company that has finally realized the path forward and has cut out all the extraneous #$%$.. One company that was on shaky ground financially, but has made moves to put its house in order... One company that has a seminal (aside from Baxter, that is) and potentially extremely profitable idea... It's NBS. So for me, I don't care if it drops down to .63 cents tomorrow. I don't care if it shoots up to .77 cents tomorrow. I'm not selling. In my opinion, NBS is headed much higher. It's gonna take time. Initially, I'm looking forward to $1.00. Hopefully that comes in the next few weeks to 2 months. And I don't see why not. There's been nothing but positive news coming out of NBS as well as Baxter (because of the similarities of the 2 respective stem cell candidates, we're tied to each other to some degree). Investor confidence is growing. Honestly, $3.00 in the next 12 to 16 months seems quite realistic if the news keeps coming back positive from both companies. Those are my thoughts. So don't talk to me about "manipulation" or a penny or two, here or there. I'm not concerned. NBS is going to continue moving higher. It might not be on my time schedule, or yours....but it's definitely moving higher. And I'm not going to miss out on any of it!!!
I agree! I did that with Sirus. I have an average cost of .19 and have held for over 3 years and am over $180K up. I think it still has a way to go. I will do the same with NBS though I think it will be much higher PPS than your figures. Buy and Hold is a good strategy for me. I am losing my Butt on VRAL & ACTC, but I think they will come back.... if they don't they didn't cost a lot.
That's a very positive assessment and a glowing endorsement for the stock. Keep in mind however that your .47 perspective might be quite different from somebody who paid say ~ 0.75 ~ at the peak of last week's rally...
(i'm in at an average SP of .66 BTW, and waiting patiently for a sign.. ;)
