Truedaat. But if a market maker's memo to a brokerage house's risk/margin department was very specific about CLSN, mentioning no other biotechs, or any stocks for that matter, then that would be very interesting indeed, don't you agree? Especially if the email reply mentioned something to the effect of "the calls can be general now, but when we become aware that the phase III release is scheduled, you will need to call the list of clients below and those calls will be immediate. We cannot be caught trying to call margins during a trading halt."
Now, we'll see if the UBS trade magically disappears, removing the false bottom, and letting it fall to the 4.07 range, which was the lan of this whole large, manipulated, big-boys back room meeting scheme.
Hail the little guy! (I mean, kudos to all of us. But I bet when he read that Flog soluted his "down there.") lol
Unless I'm missing something that memo sounds reasonable. The associated trading you're talking about doesn't appear to be taking place, but then I don't have level II so can't see what's going on re the large "fake" bid.
My concern is the reference, even the intimation, that somehow they would know of a scheduled date of an announcement. If anyone here gets an immediately due margin call and then the Phase III data comes out and there was no prior publicly available information indicating such, please let it be known. I almost feel like buying a bit on margin just so I can be one of the few who are either unlucky because they'll be forced to cover a call just before great news, or the lucky because if this is all true, that will be an easy tipoff to them that behind the walls of wall street, the "important people" have received non-public material information that news is pending. They, of course, will be able to do their last minute positioning and get all comfy on a nice couch, grab a cold drink, and enjoy watching the T1 Halt code come out, like watching a football game that's a complete slaughter of the loser, and a record breaking win for the winners.
Ironicall, I just found out that the SEC and NASDAQ have gone in on a joing venture to prevent any impropriety that would give anyone an advantage, and they hired Bill Belichik, so Shirley we are in good honest hands.
Anyway, so far the false bottom seems to be working for them. If they really want in with their million, then maybe we'll see a nice run into the close. If not, watch that "buy" disappear like the Ravens' hopes for a playoff berth.
