Davis, Mojo, Odaat---what do you think?

What's your explanation for today's trading?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I was neither surprised nor affected by it. NEVER use stops, folks. That whole debacle just now was the Big Boys taking care of the Big Boys. True collusion, shorts got a chance to cover, etc. Not a news leak, but rather one of the most considely planned orchestrated cub raids I've ever seen. (It really wasn't large enough to be a full bear raid.)

Oh, for me it triggered only one thing. One thing I have never don before. As soon as I saw this craziness I took some cash and bought some Feb calls. Westwell would be so proud.

      Here's my theory:

The whole DMC and data thing got derailed by Hurricaine Sandy. I know, I know, many of you will dispute daat, but the whole company basically shut down for 5 days. The team was in good contact, but work on the Odaata didn't get done, and the DMC meeting, which was scheduled, got cancelled. Then it took time to get back up and running and to rearrange for a time that worked for all the DMC members, but most of all, Jeff and Mike weren't going to have any egg on their face (or eggplant parmesan in the case of our fearless Italian leader) by having ANY chance they would not make it in January if they said January, so I think they scheduled the DMC meeting on purpose to be LATE in January. Not because of opex or anything tricky or political, just for good sense, to be sure they didn't miss the January stated guidance. I mean, January weather could interfere with even the re-schedule DMC meeting, and then what, right? So, I kinda figure it's next week to be frank, but just for big grins, imagine the following scenario:

The DMC meeting is tomorrow, but they announce the news AFTER the full, legal close of any options exercising or trading. The odaata is stellar. This gives the world a long market weekend (no market Monday - but we longs all get to scream "FREE AT LAST!") and we open Tuesday at $33.33 with a steady soar from there.

      It could happen.

      - Odaat

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • My entire position was protected by stop - loss orders with the lowest at $8.13. All of my shares were sold while I was at lunch. Now I am trying to decide what to do next with the stock at $8.29. My instinct is to buy it back but I sure wish I had not gone out to lunch having left my cell at home.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Mojo predicted $9.85. EOM

      Sentiment: Buy
