personally, I don't think Politicans were involved, maybe agency employees, or company employees, or the other companys who were also chosen. And I would guess it is not "funds" not enough profit potential for their interest (up a dime, 50 K shares is only a few K).
We also did see a person on this board who guessed announcements were likely, just based on typical end of year announcements...there's that too.
or, some politican leaked it to their fund buddy :)
