The investors who want to buy out this company and take it private are RIGHT NOW, as we speak, and have been over the past 3 days, quietly buying up the shares of this stock. It will soon be revealed that, when THEIR shares are subtracted from the total outstanding shares, there will be MORE SHARES SHORT THAN THERE ARE SHARES AVAILABLE for short-covering. This will then result in the mother-of-all-short-squeezes.
You can have my shares for $60 --- which, by the way, is a fair price, considering that $60 represents a forward P/E (f.y. 2008) of exactly 20.
long: I repeat an earlier question on the board: how do we know that shorts have not been covering the past few days? The 29 offer is a GIFT to shorts, paid for on the backs of the stockholders (other than Ilia, of course)
Probably the more savvy shorts HAVE BEEN covering over the past few days. But the vast majority have NOT been covering. How do I know that? Because there is still alot of selling taking place, and it's NOT the shareholders, who know that PARL is ridiculously-priced at this time, and will shoot up to much higher valuations in the coming days.
