As if the lousy performance wasn't bad enough. A story on Money says there will be a cap gains distributation of 10% of the funds value. Their useless website makes no mention of it. I had to find out from a third party. I invested in this fund and Marty Whitman's TAV at the same time. Marty made me 40% more money than Ron did.
I think it was in the last memorandum that was probably mailed to you. I saw that on-line article the other day. Along with the one where he defended CFC - what a way to make the news. Not the best articles to be in.
Perhaps the meeting Nov 8th will be interesting. Typically they don't shy completely away from some of the tough questions.
