not sure I picked up on the "terse tone" but I think it's being careful and deliberate in what he can say verses what he'd like to say?? What I got from the message, and this is just a perception, is that while people are still stopping in and placing orders for further review and study NASA Nissan etc.) that there is no mega buyout coming for the time being and that the company is perfectly content to continue to showcase the technology and move things along like they can, through the right JV, make and sell this stuff like the Iso torque and CV joint out of the gate. The company that said they looked at this Tech as "huge technological advantage" over the chinese-the mortal enemy invading their turf ( ETN OSK whomever??) etc- well they probably are going to have to feel some pain in order to move..strictly opinion here.
From the message it appears there is some interest in a possilbe purchase agreement but I also feel that the parties interested need to see some type of commetment from the current list of prospectivity buyers of the technology. This is perhaps why the company is perhaps establishing some ground work with there major product lines. A company is more attractive for a buyout when there are some actual prospect paying money for the technology. Enogh said
