    Response to cghealthcare99

Hey cg .. this is a response to the first part of your question about why there is an "apparent" Bible contradiction regarding "when" God created Adam and Eve. Here is what you said

"That's easy. I can do that with just the first book of the Bible: the first creation story says Adam and Eve were created at once. Then a few verses later in the second version, Eve was created from Adam's rib 2 days after. Then on the first account Adam was not created until the sixth day, but the second version has him being created on the third"

Lets recap the accounts carefully ....

    •Genesis chapter 1
◦Day one - Heavens and earth are created. "Let there be light." Day and Night.
◦Day two - Atmospheric waters separated from earth waters.
◦Day three - Land appears separating the seas. Vegetation is made.
◦Day four - Sun, moon, stars are made.
◦Day five - Sea life and birds are made.
◦Day six - Land animals, creeping things, and man (male and female) are made.

    •Genesis chapter 2
◦States heaven and earth were created. There was no plant yet on earth, no rain yet, and no man. But, a mist rose watering the surface of the ground. Then the Lord formed man from dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Finally, God made Eve.

There is no contradiction between Genesis 1 and 2. Genesis 1 is an account of the six days of creation, "day by day". Genesis two is a "recap" and a more "detailed explanation" of the sixth day, the day that Adam and Eve were made. The recap is stated in Gen. 2:4, "This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven." Then, Moses goes on to detail the creation of Adam and Eve as is seen in verses 7 thru 24 of Gen. 2. Proof that it is not a creative account is found in the fact that animals aren't even mentioned until after the creation of Adam. Why? Probably because their purpose was designated by Adam. They didn't need to be mentioned until after Adam was created.

I will follow up with a response regarding your question about the day 1 and day 4 account of "LIGHT" .... thanks

    • 'The LORD divinely and infallibly used human instruments to write His Word. '
Oh, sort of like a Ouija board. Oh, sort of like facilitated communication.
I assume this was the Holy Ghost, rather than the Father or the Son.

'God could have spoken in terms that would have been way over their heads but chose to communicate in a "language" and use "descriptions" that were familiar to the particular people and culture.'
Yes, as I have chosen to do with you.

    • cj, I love you man, but once again you missed the point.

The LORD divinely and infallibly used human instruments to write His Word.

God could have spoken in terms that would have been way over their heads but chose to communicate in a "language" and use "descriptions" that were familiar to the particular people and culture.

Back to my example. You could say, "How beautiful is the sky when the earth rotates around the sun" ..... but you never do. Why? because you are "COMMUNICATING" to the people in your culture who know what you mean

Or when you see things with your eyes, you coomunicate and describe the colors you see even though in "reality" there are more than 7 million actual colors you are unaware of.

like I said, you might be shocked to find out how much you dont know when you realize you're a fallible man who needs much humility

    • Well I guess we're all idoits and uneducated since we make statements like

"Look at the beautiful Sunset" .... maybe people a 1000 years after us, will read our statements and with pride and arrogance say, those peole were fools, they should have known the sun does not set but that it is the earth that rotates"

The Bible says, "Pride comes before a fall"

    • Why under 15?

      Please elaborate. Thanks.

I think it may dip to 25 and then will go higher to 32 in a week. 35 by August end is possible.

    • To tradershon, Any rational person with an 1Q over say 120 can easily see that Cg aint brilliant ,but he delivers a forceful arguement. The bible is eclectic at the council of Nicea 434ad they stripped many books out at random I never assumed it was the word of god before the abbreviation. Then the catholic church. the only literate people in Europe, abriged and expanded it to control people. WE live in a beautiful world why ruin it with fairy stories. I mean Zacharia Sitkin has more credibility than the bible.Religion poisons everything. But if your going to get the drop it will be monday morning the number is 1.15 and if they beat that with good guidance this stock will soar. You realy sound like you believed in Santa until you were eight.

    • cj, you may appear "brilliant" to others on the board but in "reality" you lack much in understanding Gods Word.

for example, you throw around terms like "four corners of the earth". Do you know what the author (John) was saying?

It is a metaphor used in Scripture refering to the cardinal directions: north, south, east, and west.

Similar terminology is often used today when we speak of the sun's rising and setting, even though the earth, not the sun, is doing the moving. Bible writers used the “language of appearance,” just as people always have. Without it, the intended message would be awkward at best and probably not understood clearly.

OK, now I'm going to put you to a test and see if you're willing to own up to your own comment that you made, here it is .... "You think if text was being written by god, he'd at least have known the earth was round!

Your comment implies that if the Bible does say that the earth is "Round" then God would have to be its Divine Author.

      Here you go ....

Isaiah 40:20-21a "Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who sits above the "CIRCLE" of the earth"

And here is one more for you to enjoy and think about

Job 26:7 "He stretches out the north over empty space, He "hangs the earth on nothing"

If you would just take a moment and or even a second to re-examine yourself, you might re-consider trusting your eternal destiny to some fallible college professor who hates the thought of a God who they are accountable to.

You can't say God did't Warn you. He loves you and sent His Son to die for you. Wow!

    • After 3 major gaps down, an extreme ppo/adx pincher starting to spread and a ppo/adx pincher having formed on the weekly that is beginning to turn, an inverse H/S on the 60 min. Any reasonable report on Monday takes this back to the 32 area....... minimum. JMHO

    • cghealthcare99...

      You are brilliant.

I hope you are wrong on AMED.

    • tradershon,
The question is..... do you believe this verbatim or do you see this as poetic symbolism.......and how does it effect the price movement of AMED? also, how do you know anybody got the translation even remotely correct. I prefer Australian aboriginal spiritualism, where the real world is the dream world and the dream world is the real world. Of course, I've forgotten now wether AMED is going to rocket in the real world or the dream world......or maybe both!!!

      • Here's whats interesting to me. Lets suppose for a moment that it is poetic or only symbolic. The question still needs to be asked ... What does it mean? Does it matter? Will it affect me or have any consequences?

The God of the Bible has revealed Himself through Scripture so that we KNOW for sure "Who He is" .... "Where we came from" .... "What our problem is" and "Gods Solution"

        1. He is the only GOD .. The Personal Creator. All-Powerful, All-Knowing and All-Present. He is HOLY,JUST,TRUE,GLORIOUS,LOVING,GOOD,MERCIFUL etc.

        2. Adam and Eve were created to have a Loving relationship with God. To depend on Him for everything. To Love,Serve and Worship Him

        3. The Problem: SIN. Adams disobedience to Gods Word brought sin and death into the world and everyone born. Sin brings about Gods righteous Judment since He is Holy and Rigteous.

        4. The Solution: In His mercy and Grace, God sent His only Son to become a man and be our substitute and sin bearer. He alone was perfect and satisfied Gods righteous judgment. He rose again on the 3rd day and by faith in Him, we are forgiven of our sin and restored to a love relationship with God

    • Okay, not sure even where to begin shooting holes in your "response"... let's see - if you think Adam (man) was created before all animals, you are ignorant. What about all the millions and millions of layers of fossil record that lie below the earliest fossil records? And how they all seem to be more sophisticated life forms the further up it goes?

But back to your "response" to the Adam and Eve creation - it doesn't re-butt my contradiction. The second version is clearly more separated (2 days later = total of 3) than the first (all in one day).

Here's another one for you... I guess you think Noah got all the animals onto one ark, huh?

      • Hey cg, take more time and read what I wrote more carefully. Here is what I stated earlier, I even put quotation marks to draw your attention to it ....

"There is no contradiction between Genesis 1 and 2. Genesis 1 is an account of the six days of creation, "day by day". Genesis two is a "recap" and a more "detailed explanation" of the sixth day, the day that Adam and Eve were made.

Read Genesis chapter 2 very carefully. Unlike chapter 1, there is No reference to any time (days). It is is a "detailed account of day six" when God made animals and man.

Its like telling others the story of how you met your wife. You may first lay out the "chronological order" of how you met. First, I saw her at school. Second, we met in a class we happen to have together and Third I approached her the next day at the campus coffee shop.

Now, you are excited about the meeting in the coffee shop, so you begin telling the story of how you approached her and the conversation you had.

Am I going to think you met her twice in the coffee shop since you repeated the event?

Or because you mentioned her name and described her appearance, would I think your adding or contradicting your story?

Make sure as you think through these issues not to quickly discount them based on false assumptions. We are all prone to doing that since we are all naturally bias (the bible calls it the sin nature)

Isaiah 53:6 says, "All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned, everyone to his own way"

and then it says,"And the LORD has laid on Him the inquity of us all."

By the way, thats a prophesy about Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sin. It was written well over 600 years prior to His 1st coming.

You can be forgiven and restored to God through faith in Him. I pray He opens your eyes

        B
