"ocfc" another ocean county n.j.bank . Its
quarterly earnings are up 28% this quarter alone!!! And
they got a 19 cent per share dividend. Hcbk is ok but,
i think ocfc is better. How many branches does hcbk
have? Ocfc has only 13, which makes them an ideal
buyout candidate."i do not own hcbk shares but i do own
ocfc shares ".hcbk has only gone up 6+pts since
ipo, ocfc has gone up 18+pts since their ipo.
Not familiar with Larry Cohn...but, I just know
I'm going to like him.
Would appreciate any
information relative to his credentials,
P.S. Be sure to check out the Elan (ELN) board and the
trials and tribulations of the Elan 11 who are being
sued by CSFB for some relatively innoculous (but
correct comments IMO) about one of their analysts. He has
keep a HOLD (aka SELL) rating on ELN as it has moved
up from 24 to 52.
An APB has been issued seeking information about
the whereabouts of the following:
When last heard from he was a "free" man. May now be
wearing a "ball and chain" and under the spell of an
alien from Venus.
2. Imnotliketheothers. May now
be either a happy new home owner or an unhappy
mortgage holder. The question remains....did he get
satisfaction from HCBK?
3. Corvette Kid. When last seen
he was standing on the ledge of a window 30 stories
up. Contemplating whether or not to jump for having
sold HCBK at 13.
4. JJR. Last heard from while
teaching a top notch course in all the nuances of
investing in MHC's.
Jack (still enjoying the
transformation of poorhungrystupid into richfullandverysmart).
