And YOU have the nerve to mock the Motley Fool article...see the challenge
A 2 minute review of the the "horrible" criticism as published by the Board iIDIOT at approximately 10:30 am today on THIS Message Board
"Genworth Financial (NYSE: GNW ) jumped 109%, in part on second-quarter results that featured earnings up 86% and a strong performance by its mortgage insurance business."
First of all, "past year"?....would that be 2013, YTD or 2012 also?, 109% is not correct gain for YTD or past year. But it looks good on paper, thanks!
OK, let's take a closer look and the author's numbers - you gutless, spineless whimp:
September 13, 2012 - GNW closes at $5.89.
One year later on September 12, 2012 - GNW closes at $12.50
$5.89 x 1.09 (or 109%) = $6.42 which when added to the 9/12/12 closing price of $5.89 = $12.31
SO FROM 9/13/12 THROUGH 9/12/12 THE GNW SHARE PRICE INCREASE IS SLIGHTLY OVER 109%
I realize the article came out on a Monday (16th) and I calculated from late last week (as my inclusive year) but the changes in date(s) are NOT material - you being theTRUE FOOL is material....
I am allowing the author one trading day (from Friday the 13th) to construct ,edit etc. his article (which in itself is not OVERLY time sensitive)
I am saying YOU are NOT associated with ANY BROKERAGE or ANY FUND and that you are a 100% FRAUD.
I am also suggesting that I DO take down real idiots like you, and if YOU pick a regular board poster then we can BOTH reveal our real names, occupations, whatever google provides etc. and allow that same poster to comment....
Ready whenever you are Mr. Fraud.....and yes, I recognize that you have read this as soon as I posted it....you have to... because it (this Board and your skewed portrayal of yourself) is truly all that you have.......
Stating the obvious I suppose, but the end date of the one year period in my post above should be 2013 (i.e. the analysis time frame is 9/13/12 through 9/12/13 - GNW's share price increased MORE than 109%).
My reference to 2012 was a mistake, I am sure I made many today - but calling out this pompous oaf was not one of them.
No matter what occurs with Genworth going forward, I am glad I was a part of it.
